早在上周就预告过的红牛滑板新赛事HART LINES的种种创新之说，当比赛现场视频发布之后，果然令人震惊，除了到场的各种大牌滑手之外，比赛场地的设计确实相当之好，还原街头实景，如同游戏中的线路安排，与其说是在看比赛，不过说更像是看一部滑板大片。
Red Bull Hart Lines, an innovative new street skateboarding competition from the mind of Ryan Sheckler that features two distinctive lanes each with its own unique set of skateable features, as well as a first-of-its-kind timing element associated with each run. Hart Lines is a flagship event of the Red Bull Signature Series.
19-year old Curren Caples, the youngest competitor in the field, took first place in the event. In a competition that factors both overall score and time, Caples not only had the fastest time to complete his runs at 24:11 seconds, but he also landed a slew of tricks. For his efforts Caples not only received $35,000, but also a brand new 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T presented by Pennzoil Synthetics.
In addition to the payouts for the Top 8 competitors, Ryan Sheckler handed out $2,000 for the “Sheckler’s Got Hart” award to Leo Romero for the skater he deemed that showed the most heart throughout the competition. Felipe Gustavo also received $2,000 for landing the best switch trick of the event as part of the “Make The Switch” award powered by Pennzoil.
