国外高清视频网站Vimeo的出现与存在为近两年滑板运动的推广与发展贡献了不小的力量，近日Vimeo也推出了自己的全新活动--2012 Vimeo Festival，在其极限运动分类中也包含不少滑板短片，同时也邀请了如Stacy Peralta这样的传奇滑手担任评审。
2012 Vimeo Festival及其颁奖将于今年6月7-9日在纽约举行，目前公开投票已正式开放，有兴趣的朋友可以登录观望为你喜爱的短片投票。
Public voting for the 2012 Vimeo Festival + Awards is open. In the Action sports category, there are a couple of skate shorts as well. Judges in the Action Sports category include Stacy Peralta, so it’s not likely to be just about visual gimmicks and new technologies. Other categories’ judges include Peter Greenaway and Nick Night among others, so it’s definitely a pretty serious thing.
The 2012 Vimeo Festival + Awards will take place from 7th-9th June 2012 in New York, where the winning videos will be unveiled and screened, as part of a wider programme of hosted conversations and educational workshops led by film and video luminaries.
