In an already very tough week for skateboarding, we have been informed of the passing of Eric Swenson. Along with Fausto Vitello he was a co-founder of Independent Trucks, Thrasher Magazine, Spitfire Wheels, Real, Think Skateboards and many more businesses and skate brands.
Without his dedication to skateboarders and skateboarding over the past three decades, chances are that we would be at a very different place right now in skateboarding’s relatively short history. His contributions to our progression and way of life as skateboarders are tremendous and he will be greatly missed.
